I loved the time I spent in Marrakech and at TCH! The hostel is beautiful and very well located, but its most valuable asset is its staff. I must say, the only “problem” I had during my stay was the earthquake that hit Marrakech on September 8th 2023, the day I arrived at TCH. It was, of course, a terrifying experience, beyond what we can call a “problem”. I do not have any special staff member I can name. ALL OF THEM WERE SPECIAL, FIRST CLASS STAFF MEMBERS. ALL OF THEM. When the earthquake hit, I was on the terrace. As soon as it ended, I ran downstairs and the first person I saw was a staff member from the bar, who asked me “Are you okay?”. He was checking that all guests were doing fine, that all were safe. Yes, the earthquake was shocking, but I will always remember how all staff members were present and with us, despite having their own worries and fears about their family members. I felt protected, cared for, I received information every time there was something available. I saw the staff members and the hostel manager constantly checking on different hotel guests, bringing cookies when we all were spending the night awake. I will never forget the earthquake, and I always remember the caring attention and care that the beautiful staff showed with us. On Saturday morning, breakfast was served, the bar opened, the facilities were cleaned, the reception area was providing information and slowly all was getting back to “normal”. But for me, this was not normal, this was beyond my expectations. I am more than grateful and humbled for this experience. I send all members of TCH my most heartfelt appreciation and respect.

It was such an incredible experience! Marrakech is one of the best cities in the world, and I truly believe that only those who interact with its citizens can truly appreciate it. The hostel offers excellent conditions, with great accommodations, cleanliness, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful—it was a pleasure to meet them, especially Younes and Ilham. Younes was extremely nice to us and helped with everything we needed. I believe he has huge potential in his job, and I noticed that he has extensive knowledge about many places, not only in Marrakech but also in European cities! Ilham was also very kind and helped us find the best souks and shop in the best stores at the right prices. Both of them gave us a deep insight into Moroccan culture and their perspective on the world, which, for me, is the most valuable thing I can gain from my travels. In general, all the hostel staff were very kind and attentive. In conclusion, this was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The accommodation was excellent, the location was unbeatable, and the people around the hostel were incredibly kind. It also felt like a very safe area. I really love staying at this hostel, and i am looking forward to go again to Marrakech and stay in this amazing hostel!

I stayed here for 2 nights as a single traveller ( 37 year old male) The 4 person room was a great size with one of the better beds i have seen while in a hostel, with great bedding, personal lighting and electrical point for convenience. Plus a curtain for privacy. Great communication with the hostel before i arrived regarding any questions i had. Very friendly welcome and simple check in. All the staff seemed to be happy and always happy to help. Large downstairs seating areas with bar for food and all sorts of drinks hot or cold. Upstairs terrace is a great place to get some sun with plenty of seating and sun loungers. Another bar also serving food and drinks. I needed to print out my boarding pass which the staff were happy to help me with for no charge. I had a late flight so i was able to leave me things in a storage room until it was time to leave, and that meant i could do some more sightseeing without having to worry about my things. They have security at the entrance, so it is nice and safe and very well looked after I paid around £51 for 2 nights. This made my stay great value for money. I will definitely be back and would also highly recommend 👌

I traveled as a solo female (African) and I would rate this place a perfect 10/10. Internet connection is very good. I stayed in a six-bed female dorm that included a shower and toilet, both of which were cleaned every day. The hostel is located in the heart of the Madina, and if you turn right when you exit, it's about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the Madina square. Google Maps worked well during my visit. When you take a taxi from the airport, they will drop you off at the college nearby, but don't worry about getting lost it's only a 10-minute walk to the hostel. Just use Google Maps, and you'll find it easily. The hostel is safe, clean, and the staff are very friendly. The bar staff, in particular, were extremely helpful lady even assisted me in setting up my free SIM card that I got from the airport. I truly loved everything about this hostel. I met three other solo female travelers, even when I wasn’t at the bar at night. It's easy to meet other people here! I will be back for sure🥰

From the first minute I felt very welcome. The staff was so lovely and funny and helped me with all my questions and bookings. They really care about you. We had a lot of good conversations, what I appreciate as a solo traveler. The Riad itself was very clean and beautiful decorated. If something broke the fixed it the same day. The sun loungers were super cozy and it was nice to have some minutes in the sun after sightseeing on the roof terrace. Everything is reachable by walking distance. The food was good but you also have tons of other possibilities near the place. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. The bed was comfortable and I liked the curtain for privacy. The water pressure was very good and you always had hot showers if you wanted. After midnight it's was not allowed to stay in the common area, so you always got a calm and good sleep. Thank you for everything it was a lovely stay, Zoé
